Puppetry Reel



About
Thomas is an Atlanta local Voice Over Actor, Improvisor, and Puppeteer. Originally hailing from northern Indiana, he completed undergrad at the University of Saint Francis. Then moved to Atlanta shortly after graduating, to pursue life and work in the entertainment industry. Thomas is first generation Chinese-Vietnamese and the proud son of Vietnamese refugees.


Voice Over
Thomas got his start in voice over at The Neighborhood Studios Atlanta. Bob Carter lead Thomas into the forays as his first teacher and mentor. Thomas has also taken sessions at The Atlanta Voice Over Studio, learning from Jill Perry, Brian Bremer, Thessaly Lerner, Mike Stoudt, and Heidi Rew.
Currently, Eliza Jane Schneider is guiding Thomas though character acting for animation/video games and Accents/dialects.
Thomas is represented by People Store and Neighborhood Studios Atlanta.


Improv
Thomas attributes the bones and beginnings of his performance career to improvisational comedy. He has learned and performed at Village Theatre, Dad's Garage, and Highwire Comedy Company. In addition to his education in Atlanta, Thomas has traveled to participate in The Improv Retreat, The Nestival, and the HUGE Theatre summer intensive.


Puppetry
Thomas's first family in Atlanta was the puppetry community, who showed him how to build, perform, and write puppet shows. His credits include The Curse of Bridge Hollow, Doom Patrol, Invesco QQQ, and Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell.
